Welcome aboard, John and Steve
Two of touring’s best-known names join the TripAdmit Advisory Board to help us bring our technology to more multiday operators around the world.
We’re delighted to welcome John Boulding and Steve Farrelly to the TripAdmit Advisory Board. Between them, they bring more than 40 years of experience in escorted and multiday touring, and a deep understanding of how these tours really work, from the coach to head office.
John and Steve join us as independent advisers on our Advisory Board, alongside their existing roles in the industry. They will help shape our strategy for growing our multiday client base, working closely with our sales team.
Meet John Boulding
Few people know escorted touring as well as John. He spent 20 years as President and CEO of Insight Vacations and Luxury Gold, part of The Travel Corporation, building them into some of the best-known names in the sector.
Today John is an independent travel industry adviser. He is Global Brand Ambassador and Industry Advisor to Vox Group, and a director of UKinbound. On our Advisory Board, he will advise us on our multiday strategy, our proposition and how we engage with tour operators.
In John’s words: “Having spent much of my career in escorted touring, I understand the importance of capturing the guest’s voice while also giving Tour Managers and head office practical tools that fit the way a tour operates. I have been impressed by TripAdmit’s understanding of these requirements and the breadth of the proposition it is developing. Meet Steve Farrelly
Steve has spent more than 20 years in the global travel industry, with senior leadership roles at Kaptio, Rocky Mountaineer and The Travel Corporation. Today he is Director of Strategic Partnerships at travel technology company Cobber, and Founder of +sixone Consulting, which specialises in travel technology, commercial strategy and business transformation.
Steve knows multiday touring from the commercial, operational and technology sides alike, and has strong relationships right across the sector. As an Advisory Board member, he will work closely with our sales team to help accelerate growth, develop strategic partnerships and grow our presence among multiday operators globally.
As Steve puts it: “Multiday operators need technology that fits the way their tours actually run, from the coach to head office. TripAdmit has built exactly that. I’m looking forward to working with the sales team to roll it out to multiday operators around the world.”
Why multiday matters to us
Multiday touring has become one of the most exciting parts of our story. We first entered the sector with our Optionals Sales Software, which lets operators manage and digitise the sale of optional excursions while guests are travelling. Since then, we’ve grown our multiday proposition to include guest questionnaires, tour-specific reviews, feedback analysis and digital tipping.
Together, these help operators look after the commercial and guest-feedback moments that matter most during and after a tour. They also give head office a much clearer view of how each tour is performing, and of any guest issues as they emerge.
