  2. Customers hold their phone to the guide’s card; a link automatically brings them to a screen where they can enter the amount they wish to tip.
  3. Transactions are done using a Stripe secure payment checkout or Apple/Google pay depending on the customer’s device.
  4. Guides receive the tips into the bank account of their Choice

As a company, how do I get started?

Just sign up on our Pricing Page, choose your plan, add your guides, connect your tours and review links, and start collecting tips and reviews. TipDirect also integrates with booking systems for quick onboarding. If you need advice, we have a Customer Success Team and Sales Team that are always ready to help

Can TipDirect integrate with my booking software?

Yes. TipDirect connects with platforms like Fareharbor, Ventrata, and Bokun, pulling tour data, integrated booking widgets, and booking information to enable smooth in-tour and post-tour communication and review follow-ups. TipDirect can also integrate with your CRM or email platform to send automated post-tour review and tip requests.

Is it possible to use the App and also the Admin account in a browser?

Yes, you can use both the TipDirect App and the admin account via a browser without needing to sign up again. Your account works seamlessly across both platforms.

How do I invite Guides?

If you are on the Pro or ProPlus Plans, we would recommend you get in touch with our Customer Success Team and they will upload all your guides for you. Or, as an Admin of a company account, you can invite guides in the ‘Users’ section. Simply enter their email addresses one by one or upload multiple email addresses all at once on a CSV file. Once you hit submit an automated email will be sent to all your guides to join the company’s TipDirect channel. As new guides join, just repeat the process for the new guides

How can an admin be removed from the guide gallery?

Company admins can exclude themselves or specific guides from the guide gallery through the Settings> Guide Gallery Settings section. This is useful for admins who do not collect tips themselves.
